"Other"?
You might find yourself wondering why I’m the other John Madden. As it happens I was in secondary school when a series of American Football video games bearing my name (or that of my namesake) became hugely popular, leading to a lot of ‘touchdown!’ jokes. I like to say that even if I shot to fame tomorrow I’d still be fourth at best on the list of notable John Maddens. Or Johns Madden, if you prefer.
